PHILADELPHIA (May 27, 2021). The Guiliano Law Group is pleased to announce that a FINRA Securties Arbitration Panel, siting in Atlanta, after a series of lengthy hearings last month, rendered an Final Award in the amount of $1,978,713 for our clients in 18-04008 Executed Award.
The Award includes interest, costs and attorney’s fees of $328,540, together with punitive damages and other sanctions totaling an additional $220,000.
The action was brought on behalf of certain Georgia residents for the violation of the anti-fraud provisions of the federal securities laws, including Section 10b of the Exchange Act, and churning or excessive activity, unauthorized trading, the fraudulent extension of margin credit, breach of fiduciary duty, common law fraud, and the violation of the Georgia Uniform Securities Act of 2008 by a securities broker-dealer, its president and chief executive officer, and several of its registered representatives.
