Gilberto Briseno (also known as Gilbert Briseno), of Boutte, Louisiana, a stockbroker formerly registered with LPL Financial LLC, is identified in a customer initiated investment related written complaint on June 4, 2021, in which the customer requested $13,000.00 in damages based upon accusations of losses caused by unsuitable trading of closed-end funds and real estate securities by Briseno while he was associated with LPL Financial.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that Briseno has been identified in three more customer initiated investment related disputes regarding allegations of his misconduct while employed by LPL Financial. On January 8, 2021, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim regarding Briseno’s conduct was settled for $90,000.00 in damages founded on accusations of misrepresentation and unsuitable recommendations by Briseno during the time that he was employed by FSC Securities Corporation. LPL Financial LLC also resolved this matter on May 12, 2021, for $8,333.00 in damages supported by allegations of Briseno’s unsuitable advice and misrepresentations at LPL Financial relating to a variable annuity and real-estate security.
On November 13, 2020, a different customer initiated investment related arbitration claim concerning Briseno’s activities was settled for $30,000.00 in damages based upon accusations of bad investment recommendations by Briseno at LPL Financial concerning a REIT and variable annuity. Briseno is also the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim which was resolved for $45,000.00 in damages founded on allegations of Briseno making misrepresentations to the customer and providing unsuitable recommendations concerning variable annuities and REITs. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-03435 (November 13, 2020).
Briseno was registered with LPL Financial as a stockbroker between December 10, 2012, and August 21, 2017. Since August 1, 2017, Briseno has been associated with Arkadios Capital.
