Gihan Anil Fernando (also known as Gihan Raphael Fernando) of Sugar Land, Texas, a stockbroker associated with BOK Financial Securities Inc., was the subject of a customer initiated investment related complaint that was settled on November 3, 2022, for $16,018.77 in damages based upon allegations that Fernando misrepresented information about a real estate security that was purchased by the customer when Fernando was associated with BOK Financial Securities Inc.

This is not the first time that Fernando has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Fernando’s conduct in the securities industry. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that Fernando was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $350,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Fernando made unsuitable recommendations. A total of seven transactions are included in the claim and were executed between March 2014 and November 2017 during the time that Fernando was associated with BOK Financial Securities Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-02021 (August 19, 2021).

Fernando has been associated with BOK Financial Securities Inc. as a stockbroker in Sugar Land, Texas, since March 7, 2003. He has also been associated with BOK Financial Advisors as an investment adviser representative since March 7, 2003.
