Evan Kyle Davis (also known as Garry Davis) a stockbroker formerly registered with Raymond James Associates Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim which was settled for $75,000.00 in damages founded upon accusations of the violation of Securities Exchange Act of 1934 Section 10(b) in reference to the unit investment transactions executed by Davis when he was associated with Raymond James Associates. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 19-03563 (February 24, 2021). The claim alleges breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty relating to the UIT transactions. Additional allegations include fraud and negligent supervision.

Davis has been identified in three additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing accusations of his sales practice violations while employed by Morgan Stanley. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that a customer initiated investment related complaint involving Davis’ conduct was resolved for $11,386.20 in damages supported by allegations of unauthorized trading of bonds in the customer’s account by Davis during the period that Morgan Stanley employed him.

A different customer initiated investment related complaint concerning Davis’ activities was settled for $11,868.64 in damages based on accusations that the customer was not provided with breakpoint discounts on securities transactions effected by Davis relating to ICS Vision Access during the time that he was registered with Morgan Stanley. Davis is also the subject of another customer initiated investment related written complaint in which the customer sought compensatory damages founded upon accusations that they received false information from Davis regarding the liquidity of an auction rate security purchased at Morgan Stanley.

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Davis had been suspended as a stockbroker supported by findings that he effected unauthorized transactions in a customer’s account at Morgan Stanley. Davis violated National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Rule 2110.

Davis’ stockbroker and investment adviser representative registrations with Raymond James Associates were terminated on January 18, 2019. Since January 16, 2019, Davis has been registered with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC as a stockbroker and investment adviser representative.
