Drew Matthew Peacock (also known as Matt Peacock), of Pensacola Florida, a stockbroker formerly registered with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC is the subject of a customer initiated investment related complaint on November 12, 2024, alleging that he provided incorrect information regarding bond purchases completed in January and February 2023. The complaint was settled for $132,163.68 with no individual contribution from Peacock.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that Peacock has been the subject of five other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning his conduct in the securities industry. On September 24, 2024, a customer initiated investment related complaint alleged that Peacock made misrepresentations of material fact about the future appreciation of Activision bonds purchased in 2023. The damages requested were $15,022.23, which was settled in full for the same amount.
On September 5, 2024, a different customer initiated investment related complaint alleged Peacock made misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the sale of Activision bonds in 2022 and 2023. The initial damage request was $607,235.12, and the case was settled for $177,743.86. Another customer initiated investment related complaint was filed on September 3, 2024, alleging incorrect information on bond purchases in December 2022 and January 2023. The complaint alleged $16,694.55 in damages, which was fully settled for the same amount.
On June 5, 2024, another customer complaint was filed alleging that Peacock purchased Activision bonds in January 2023 without customer authorization. This unauthorized transaction led to damages claimed at $63,956. The case was settled for the full amount, and Peacock contributed $63,956 individually to the settlement. Additionally, an earlier complaint from September 2, 2014, accused Peacock of misusing account dividends for personal use while employed at Edward Jones. However, following an internal investigation, this claim was denied by the securities broker dealer with no further action taken.
Peacock was registered with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC from October 2019 to April 2024 and Edward Jones from September 2010 to September 2019, both in Pensacola, Florida.
