Donald Marshall Cox a stockbroker currently employed by Raymond James Associates Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related civil action in which the customer sought $2,000,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that between April of 2011 and November of 2015: (1) the customer’s funds were converted (2) the customer’s signature had been forged on account documentation (3) fiduciary and contractual duties were breached and (4) the customer was defrauded. Civil Action No. C-04-CV-18-000455 (Nov. 1, 2018).
FINRA Public Disclosure also confirms that Cox has been fined $10,000.00 and required to cease and desist committing violations of Florida law according to an Order adopting a Stipulation and Consent Agreement in which Cox admitted to having engaged in investment advisory services with Florida residents while associated with Raymond James Associates Inc. without being registered in the state. Case No. 55706-SR (Dec. 8, 2014).
