Robert James Perta of Oak Brook Illinois a former registered representative of Transamerica Financial Advisors Inc. is the subject of a customer initiated investment related civil action in which the customer requested $4,279,093.00 in damages based upon allegations that the customer’s financial information was provided to an unauthorized recipient as part of a scheme to defraud the customer. Civil Action No. 17-cv-09060 (N.D. Ill. Feb. 1, 2018).

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure also reveals that Perta is referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint in which the customer sought $20,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that while Perta was associated with Western Reserve Life, he failed to explain the terms and conditions of an insurance policy and made misrepresentations to the customer about the insurance policy.

Perta’s registration with Transamerica Financial Advisors was terminated on March 26, 2018.
