Michael A. Castillero, of New York, New York, a stockbroker with Alexander Capital, L.P., is subject to a pending customer dispute from July 19, 2016, in which the customer has requested $190,000.00 in damages after alleging that Castillero made negligent misrepresentations, effected unauthorized trades in the customer’s account, and engaged in unsuitable investment recommendations.
On June 22, 2016, Castillero became subject to a pending customer dispute, in which the customer requested $56,000.00 in damages after alleging that Castillero committed negligence, made unauthorized trades, and made unsuitable recommendations. Castillero is also subject to a customer dispute from March 17, 2016, in which the customer requested $5,000.00 in damages in connection with allegations against Castillero of misrepresentation, and making unsuitable recommendations.
FINRA Public Disclosure records also reveal that on August 12, 2015, Castillero became subject to a pending customer dispute, in which the customer has requested $83,000.00 in damages per allegations against Castillero of engaging in unauthorized trades in the customer’s account. On July 7, 2016, Castillero settled a customer dispute for $20,000.00 after the customer alleged that Castillero made unsuitable investment recommendations.
Castillero also settled a customer dispute for $59,500.00 on April 1, 2009, after the customer alleged that Castillero breached his fiduciary duty to the client, and engaged in fraudulent misrepresentations. On November 1, 2006, Castillero settled a customer dispute for $235,000.00 after a customer alleged that Castillero churned the customer’s account and made unsuitable investment recommendations.
