Brian E. Patterson of Woodbridge, New Jersey, a stockbroker registered with Equitable Advisors, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $18,750.00 in damages based upon allegations that Patterson made unsuitable recommendations of Real Estate Investment Trusts (“REITs”) during the time that Patterson was associated with Equitable Advisors. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 22-01341 (June 21, 2023).

This is not the first time that Patterson has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Patterson’s conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Patterson was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related securities arbitration claim that was settled for $20,712.50 in damages based upon allegations that the stockbroker failed to contact the customer, resulting in losses when options contracts expired. NASD Arbitration No. 07-01356 (April 8, 2008).

Patterson has been associated with Equitable Advisors as a stockbroker since April 29, 2002, and as an investment advisor representative November 21, 2002.
