Brian Troy Hinson of Huntsville, Alabama, a stockbroker previously registered with LPL Financial LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $200,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hinson made the unsuitable investment recommendation of oil and gas investments when Hinson was associated with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corporation. FINRA Arbitration No. 24-00348 (February 16, 2024).

This is not the first time that Hinson has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Hinson’s conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Hinson was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on November 8, 2004, in which the customer requested $80,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hinson recommended an unsuitable real estate investment trust (REIT) during the time that Hinson was associated with Lincoln Financial Advisors. The complaint has been denied by the securities broker dealer.

On January 17, 2006, another customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Hinson’s conduct was settled for $79,992.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hinson made unsuitable recommendations in variable annuities when Hinson was associated with Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp. FINRA Arbitration No. 06-00090.

Hinson was associated with LPL Financial LLC in Huntsville, Alabama from April 30, 2015, to December 5, 2023.
