Brian Dunn, of San Francisco, California, a stockbroker and former CEO of Growth Capital Services Inc., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim filed on January 24, 2024. The customers requested $2,000,000.00 in damages, alleging that Growth Capital Services stockbrokers or other representatives sold fraudulent private placements to their customers.  As of October 7, 2023, this case is pending before FINRA.  Arbitration No. 24-00172.

According to FINRA Public Disclosure, a second customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim was filed on April 21, 2023, where the customer requested $100,000.00 in damages. The allegations involve the sale of a fraudulent private placement at Growth Capital Services. Dunn allegedly failed to supervise. This case is also pending. FINRA Arbitration No. 23-01081.

Dunn is currently registered with Mercury Investment Services LLC, located in San Francisco, California, as of March 14, 2024. He was registered with Growth Capital Services Inc. from June 2003 to March 2022, as a stockbroker and investment advisor representative. On May 3, 2022, a Chapter 7 bankruptcy was reportedly filed in the California Northern Bankruptcy Court concerning Growth Capital Services Inc., where Dunn held the position of CEO.
