Brent William Makarczyk, of Kingston, Pennsylvania, a stockbroker registered with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim that was settled for $54,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Makarczyk made unsuitable recommendations of real estate securities, life insurance products, and variable annuities when Makarczyk was associated with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC. This is not the first time that Makarczyk has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Makarczyk’s conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Makarczyk is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint, in which the customer requested $10,478.75 in damages based upon allegations that Makarczyk made omissions of material fact and made unsuitable recommendations of variable annuities when Makarczyk was associated with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC. The securities broker dealer denied this complaint.
Makarczyk was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $40,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Makarczyk made unsuitable recommendations of life insurance and annuities products. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-00719 (February 2, 2023).
Makarczyk has been associated with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC as a stockbroker since February 11, 2002, and as an investment advisor representative since July 14, 2003.
