Joseph Francis Valdini, of Garden City, New York, a stockbroker formerly registered with Worden Capital Management LLC, has been named in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, which settled on March 21, 2016, for $79,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Valdini breached his fiduciary and contractual duties to the customer, violated New Jersey Uniform Securities Law, and negligently managed the customer’s portfolio in the handling of stock and over-the-counter equity transactions.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure additionally reveals that on January 27, 2016, a customer initiated investment related written complaint involving Valdini’s conduct was settled for $28,125.60 in damages based upon allegations that on December 31, 2015, Valdini placed equity trades in the customer’s account without authorization, and sold positions pursuant to a margin call which caused the customer to sustain investment losses.
Valdini’s registration with Worden Capital Management LLC was terminated on January 27, 2016, based upon allegations that Valdini admitted to effecting an unauthorized transaction in a customer’s account. Since February 2, 2016, Valdini has been registered with Aegis Capital Corp.
