Jed Edward Turner, of Missoula, Montana, a stockbroker formerly registered with Western International Securities, Inc., has been named in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim on August 10, 2016, in which the customer requested $181,668.00 in damages based upon allegations that Turner negligently handled the customer’s stock portfolio.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Turner has been named in three additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his misconduct while employed with Western International Securities, Inc. Specifically, on August 22, 2006, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Turner’s conduct, in which the customer requested $150,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Turner misappropriated the customer’s investment funds, and effected unsuitable purchases of equity indexed annuities and variable annuities.
Subsequently, on September 29, 2015, a customer filed an investment related arbitration claim regarding Turner’s activities in which the customer requested $1,200,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Turner effected over-the-counter equity transactions in the customer’s account which were not suitable for the customer. Further, on July 18, 2016, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Turner’s conduct, in which the customer requested $187,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Turner effected unsuitable private placement transactions in the customer’s account.
