Albert Anthony Bevilacqua III (also known as Tony Bevilacqua), of Boca Raton, Florida, a stockbroker registered with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $200,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Bevilacqua made unsuitable recommendations in FS Energy and Power Fund (FSEP) and a variable annuity issued by Securian during the time that Bevilacqua was associated with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC. This is not the first time that Bevilacqua has been accused of sales practice violations by a customer. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that on March 1, 2005, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Bevilacqua’s conduct in which the customer requested $236,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that the customer did not receive valid receipts for check deposits totaling $236,000.00.
The customer indicated that their funds were potentially misappropriated. The complaint was closed on October 18, 2005, with no further action taken by the customer.
Bevilacqua has been associated with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC in Boca Raton, Florida since May 9, 2001.
