Breach Of Contract

Steven Franklin Brandt of Alexandria Virginia a stockbroker formerly registered with Cetera Advisors LLC is referenced in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim in which the customer requested $50,000.00 in damages supported by allegations of (1) breach of contract (2) the customer having been placed in direct participation program or limited partnership interests that had not been suitable for the customer and (3) transactions being effected in violation of FINRA rules. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 18-02210 (June 13, 2018).

FINRA Public Disclosure also confirms that Brandt has been fined by Virginia State Corporation Commission’s Division of Securities based upon accusations that Brandt transacted investment related business in the state as an investment advisor representative despite having failed to be registered in the state. Case No. SEC990026 (Apr. 26, 1999). The Division found Brandt’s conduct violative of Virginia Code § 13.1-504(II).

Brandt’s registration with Cetera Advisors LLC was terminated on July 26, 2016. Between July 25, 2016 and December 5, 2017, Brandt was employed by LPL Financial LLC. He has been registered with The Strategic Financial Alliance, Inc. since December 1, 2017.
