Shirley Ellen Washam (also known as Shirley Ellen Davis and as Shirley Ellen Mazzanti) of Little Rock Arkansas a stockbroker formerly registered with Raymond James Associates Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related written complaint which was resolved for $45,000.00 in damages on December 9, 2020 founded on allegations of an unauthorized annuity sale by Washam between March 21, 2019 and April 20, 2020, when Washam was associated with Raymond James.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that Washam has been identified in six additional customer initiated investment related disputes involving accusations of her improper conduct while employed by Morgan Keegan and Raymond James. Washam is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint where the customer sought compensatory damages supported by allegations that the risks of mutual funds were not explained to them when Washam was associated with Morgan Keegan Company.

Another customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim regarding Washam’s conduct was settled for $54,000.00 in damages based upon accusations of Washam’s unsuitable trading of mutual funds for the customer’s account at Morgan Keegan Company. According to the claim, Washam made misrepresentations regarding mutual funds. Washam is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim which was resolved for $7,700.00 in damages founded on allegations that Washam misrepresented information relating to mutual funds and caused the customer to purchase bad investments.

A different customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim concerning Washam’s activities was settled for $93,000.00 in damages supported by accusations of unsuitability and misrepresentation in regard to mutual fund transactions made by Washam at Morgan Keegan Company. Washam is also the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint which was resolved for $45,430.20 based upon allegations of misrepresented and unsuitable mutual fund trading resulting in losses.

Washam’s stockbroker and investment adviser representative registrations with Raymond James have been terminated as of October 3, 2019. Since September 23, 2019, she has been associated with Ameriprise Financial Services as a stockbroker and investment adviser representative.
