Sally Ann Weger (also known as Sarah Ann Weger), of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, a stockbroker registered with Morgan Stanley, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim that was settled for $350,000.00 in damages based upon alleged unauthorized withdrawals from an individual retirement account during the time that Weger was associated with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. FINRA Arbitration No. 23-01580 (February 29, 2024).
FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Weger is referenced in five other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Weger’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers. On August 3, 2001, a customer filed an investment related complaint involving Weger’s conduct in which the customer requested $55,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Weger made unsuitable recommendations in stocks and unit investment trusts when Weger was associated with Merrill Lynch.
On November 3, 2003, another customer filed an investment related complaint involving Weger’s conduct in which the customer requested $200,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Weger engaged in unsuitable trading in mutual funds during the time that Weger was associated with Merrill Lynch.
On June 22, 2007, a customer initiated investment related NASD securities arbitration claim involving Weger’s conduct was settled for $1,500,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Weger made unsuitable recommendations in municipal bonds and misrepresentations of material fact in connection with an estate planning proposal. Weger is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on May 3, 2018, in which the customer requested $28,305.36 in damages based upon allegations that Weger made misrepresentations of material fact regarding advisory fees charged to the customer’s account when Weger was associated with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
Weger is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $130,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Weger breached her fiduciary duties in connection with a transfer of death designation added to the customer’s account. FINRA Arbitration No. 23-01160 (February 26, 2024).
