Robert Steven Clarke of Cincinnati Ohio is a stockbroker formerly registered with Ross Sinclaire & Associates LLC who is the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim in which the customer sought five hundred thousand dollars in damages founded on allegations that misrepresentations were made to the customer regarding collateralized mortgage obligations products. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 17-02253 (Aug. 30 2017).
FINRA Public Disclosure confirms that Clarke has been referenced in three additional customer initiated investment related disputes pertaining to accusations of Clarke’s improper conduct while employed with Ross, Sinclaire & Associates, LLC. Particularly, a customer was awarded $21,548.00 in damages according to an investment related arbitration claim pertaining to Clarke’s misconduct, based upon allegations that Clarke negligently handled the customer’s investment account, breached his fiduciary and contractual duties to the customer, and placed trades in the customer’s account without authorization. National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Arbitration No. 97-02500 (Feb. 11, 1998).
Thereafter, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim in regards to Clarke’s activities was resolved for $77,205.00 in damages supported by accusations of negligence, suitability, breach of fiduciary duty, and failure to supervise Clarke’s collateralized mortgage obligation transactions placed in the customer’s investment account. FINRA Arbitration No. 14-01250 (Dec. 14, 2015). Moreover, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim involving Clarke’s conduct was settled for $120,000.00 in damages founded on allegations that Clarke made misrepresentations and unsuitable investment recommendations relating to asset backed debt products. FINRA Arbitration No. 16-00537 (Dec. 14, 2016).
