Richard John Donatelli (also known as Rick Donatelli), of Columbiana, Ohio, a stockbroker registered with LPL Financial LLC, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on April 2, 2024, in which the customer requested $79,437.04 in damages based upon the alleged unsuitable investment recommendation of variable annuities when Donatelli was associated with Wealth Advisors Group. Additionally, the customer alleged that LPL Financial failed to supervise suitability of annuity transactions. The complaint was denied.
This is not the first time that Donatelli has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Donatelli’s conduct in the securities industry. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that Donatelli was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $50,000.00 in damages based upon alleged unsuitable advice in connection with mutual funds when Donatelli was associated with LPL Financial LLC. Donatelli has been associated with LPL Financial LLC in Columbiana, Ohio since November 29, 2017.
