Steven Robert Karmelin of West Palm Beach, Florida, a stockbroker currently registered with RBC Capital Markets, LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint brought by a customer on August 14, 2017, where the customer sought $280,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that between February 4, 2011 and August 7, 2017, Karmelin made unsuitable municipal debt recommendations.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure additionally reveals that on April 25, 2011, a customer filed an investment related written complaint regarding Karmelin’s activities, in which the customer requested $54,352.00 in damages supported by allegations that Karmelin effected unsuitable closed end fund transactions in the customer’s trust account.

Furthermore, on November 10, 2014, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Karmelin’s conduct, where the customer alleged that she was mistreated, misinformed and misled regarding exchange traded funds effected in her account. The customer also alleged that a third-party money manager churned her investment portfolio.
