Paul Joseph Brent of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, a stockbroker registered with Morgan Stanley, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $50,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Brent made misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the sale of preferred common and preferred stocks when Brent was associated with Morgan Stanley. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 23-00628 (March 15, 2023).
This is not the first time that Brent has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Brent’s conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Brent was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on December 21, 2000, in which the customer requested compensation based upon allegations that Brent engaged in unauthorized trading in over-the-counter equities during the time that Brent was associated with Salomon Smith Barney. The securities broker closed this customer’s complaint without a resolution.
Brent has been registered with Morgan Stanley as a stockbroker since June 1, 2009, and as an investment advisor representative since October 21, 2010.
