Doug Dulac, of Carmel, Maine, a stockbroker associated with United Planners’ Financial Services of America, was the subject of an investment related, customer initiated complaint relating the sale of unsuitable alternative investments.
Dulas conducts business under the name Maine Street Insurance and Financial Services. In addition to his most recent disclosable event, FINRA Public Disclosure reports three investor investment related, customer initiated complaint alleging breach of fiduciary duty on connection with the recommendation of unsuitable alternative investments. These claims were also settled.
In 2022, another investment related, customer initiated complaint alleging Dulac committed fraud, made unsuitable recommendations, and breached his fiduciary duty was settled in 2023.
