Morgan Stanley Name

Karen McKinley, of Manchester, New Hampshire, a stockbroker formerly registered with Morgan Stanley, is the subject of a customer initiated investment written complaint, where the customer sought $16,951.58 in damages supported by allegations that she misappropriated the customer’s funds between 2014 and 2015.

The customer’s complaint comes after Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) barred her in all capacities for failing to cooperate with FINRA’s investigation into allegations of her failure to procure client confirmations prior to trades having been effected in non-discretionary investment accounts; conduct violative of FINRA Rules 2010 and 8210. Letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent, No. 20160512829-01 (Nov. 30, 2016).

Morgan Stanley fired McKinley on August 15, 2016 based upon accusations that she failed to abide by her firm’s compliance policies with respect to her trading activities.
