Robert William Urban of Riverhead New York a stockbroker registered with Morgan Stanley has been terminated by the firm on February 28, 2018 supported by accusations that he failed to accurately and timely disclose his participation in a customer’s real estate transaction.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure confirms that Urban has been identified in two additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his wrongdoing while employed by Merrill Lynch, Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc. In particular, on June 13, 2002, a customer filed an investment related complaint regarding Urban’s conduct where the customer requested unspecified damages based upon accusations that Urban made recommendations of mutual funds that were not suitable for the customer.

Subsequently, on June 24, 2004, a customer initiated investment related complaint concerning Urban’s conduct was resolved for $24,000.00 in damages founded on allegations that Urban failed to make the customer aware of the market risk pertaining to four closed-end mutual funds at the time that they were purchased by the customer.

Urban’s employment with EK Riley Investments, LLC commenced on March 19, 2018.
