Victor Eugene Lambert III, of Melville, New York, a stockbroker formerly registered with Morgan Stanley, was named in a written customer complaint, which settled on April 7, 2016 for $85,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Lambert effected unsuitable equity transactions in the customer’s investment account.
FINRA Public Disclosure reveals that Lambert has been identified in six additional customer disputes concerning allegations of Lambert’s misconduct while he was employed with Citigroup Global Markets Inc. Particularly, on August 12, 2004, a customer was awarded $30,000.00 in damages according to a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim involving Lambert’s conduct, based upon allegations that Lambert breached his contractual and fiduciary obligations to the customer, negligently managed the customer’s investment account, and defrauded the customer with regard to municipal bond transactions.
On July 5, 2005, another customer filed a complaint regarding Lambert’s actions, in which the customer requested $8,460.00 in damages based upon allegations that Lambert misrepresented an equity investment to the customer. Subsequently, on August 2, 2005, a customer filed a complaint pertaining to Lambert’s conduct, in which the customer requested $8,460.00 in damages based upon allegations of misrepresentation.
On December 20, 2007, another customer filed a complaint regarding Lambert’s conduct, based upon allegations that Lambert effected an excessive amount of unit investment trust and closed-end fund transactions in the customer’s account. Further, on April 3, 2013, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim involving Lambert’s conduct was settled for $7,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Lambert effected purchases of an initial public offering which were not suitable for the customer.
Lambert’s registration with Morgan Stanley was terminated on July 23, 2015. From July 9, 2015 to November 4, 2016, Lambert was registered with Janney Montgomery Scott LLC.
