Gary Wayne Hammond, of Charlotte, North Carolina, a stockbroker registered with MML Investors Services, LLC, was terminated from employment on April 21, 2017, based upon allegations that he sold away from his firm and violated the firm’s company policies in the handling of a customer initiated investment related complaint.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that on May 13, 2016, a customer filed an investment related written complaint concerning Hammond’s activities, in which the customer requested $16,400.00 in damages based upon allegations that Hammond, while associated with MetLife Securities, made unsuitable investment recommendations to the customer concerning the purchase of variable life insurance contracts.
