Michael Joseph Distler (also known as Mike Distler), of Crystal City, Missouri, a stockbroker registered with National Planning Corp., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim that was settled for $7,500.00 in damages based upon allegations that Distler made unsuitable recommendations, breached a fiduciary duty, and was negligent with regard to the recommendation and sale of certain alternative investments, including a business development company (“BDC”) when Distler was associated with National Planning Corp. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-02151 (July 8, 2020).
This is not the first time that Distler has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Distler’s conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Distler is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled to resolve allegations that Distler made unsuitable transactions, breached a fiduciary duty, and failed to supervise in connection with the recommendation and sale of insurance products and real estate securities when Distler was associated with National Planning Corp. FINRA Arbitration No. 18-01309 (Apr. 3, 2018).
Michael Distler was associated with Kalos Capital Inc. in Sunset Hills, MO, as a stockbroker from July 7, 2017 to August 1, 2022. He has been associated with Madison Avenue Securities LLC since July 31, 2022.
