Linda Jill Wimsatt (also known as Linda Jill Eblowitz) of Carlsbad, California, a stockbroker registered with Westpark Capital Inc., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $30,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Wimsatt failed to supervise certain representatives, breached a contract, made misrepresentations of material fact, was negligent, and breached her fiduciary duties in connection with the recommendation and sale of GWG L Bonds during the time that Wimsatt was associated with Westpark Capital Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 23-01547 (May 25, 2023).

FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Wimsatt is referenced in five other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Wimsatt’s conduct while associated with securities broker dealers. On October 18, 2010, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Wimsatt’s conduct was settled for $12,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Wimsatt made unsuitable recommendations and omissions of material fact in connection with the sale of real estate securities when Wimsatt was associated with Sagepoint Financial Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 10-03822.

On March 21, 2022, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Wimsatt’s conduct in which the customer requested $100,001.00 in damages based upon allegations that Wimsatt made misrepresentations and unsuitable recommendations of GWG L Bonds during the time that Wimsatt was associated with Westpark Capital Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-00607.

Wimsatt is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested compensation based upon alleged unsuitable and misrepresented GWG L Bonds for the customer’s account. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-02057 (September 8, 2022).

On October 12, 2022, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Wimsatt’s conduct in which the customer requested $25,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Wimsatt recommended unsuitable GWG L Bonds to the customer. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-02227.

On May 25, 2023, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Wimsatt’s conduct in which the customer requested $150,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Wimsatt was negligent, failed to supervise certain representatives, breached a contract, and breached his fiduciary duties in connection with GWG L Bond sales when Wimsatt was associated with Westpark Capital Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 23-01531.

Wimsatt was associated with Westpark Capital Inc. as a stockbroker from November 13, 2017, to October 30, 2020, and as an investment advisor representative from September 1, 2020, to October 30, 2020. She has been associated with American Trust Investment Services since November 1, 2020.
