Joseph John Weinrich Sr. of Overland Park Kansas a stockbroker formerly registered with Moloney Securities Co. Inc. is referenced in a customer initiated investment related civil action brought in the Circuit Court of Jackson County Missouri where the customer sought $225,000.00 in damages based upon accusations of (1) nondisclosures concerning the risks of venture capital investments and oil and gas investments (2) negligent handling of the customer’s account (3) violation of fiduciary duties (4) fraudulent alternative investments causing the customer to incur unwarranted losses. Civil Action No. 1816-CV30713 (Dec. 4, 2018).

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Weinrich has been identified in two additional customer initiated investment related disputes pertaining to allegations of his misconduct while employed by securities broker dealers including Stifel Nicolaus Company Inc. and Moloney Securities. Specifically, a customer filed an investment related arbitration claim concerning Weinrich’s conduct in which the customer requested $180,000.00 in damages supported by accusations of negligence and improper transfers causing the customer to incur losses.

Also, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim regarding Weinrich’s activities was resolved for $69,000.00 in damages founded on allegations that the customer’s account had been handled with poor care; fiduciary obligations were not complied with; unauthorized transactions were executed in the customer’s account; trades were placed on an excessive and unsuitable basis; and Moloney Securities neglected to supervise investments sold to the customer including master limited partnerships, real estate securities, business development companies, and oil and gas products. Weinrich has also been subject of sixteen regulatory actions including those in which he was sanctioned by securities regulators for violation of securities laws and National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) rules.

Weinrich’s registration with Moloney Securities Co. Inc. has been terminated on May 22, 2018.
