Joseph Francis Valdini of Garden City New York a stockbroker formerly employed by Worden Capital Management LLC has been barred from associating with any Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) member in any capacity supported by accusations that Valdini failed to respond to a request FINRA made regarding Valdini’s activities which possibly related to his disclosures of customer initiated investment related disputes or his termination from a securities broker dealer for misconduct. Case No. 2017052731101 (Dec. 18, 2017).
According to FINRA Public Disclosure, in 2017, Valdini was asked by FINRA to provide information or documentation to the regulator. However, Valdini failed to respond to FINRA’s request. Consequently, Valdini was issued a Notice of Suspension from FINRA on September 14, 2017 and a Suspension from Association letter dated October 10, 2017. Evidently, despite being provided three months to provide FINRA with a request for the termination of his suspension, Valdini still failed to correspond with FINRA. As a result, on December 18, 2017, Valdini was barred by the regulator in all capacities.
FINRA Public Disclosure confirms that Valdini has been identified in two customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his violative conduct while employed by Worden Capital Management. Specifically, a customer initiated investment related complaint concerning Valdini’s conduct was resolved for $28,125.60 in damages founded on accusations that Valdini executed unauthorized stock trades in the customer’s account.
Another customer initiated investment related arbitration claim involving Valdini’s activities has been settled for $79,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that contractual obligations to the customer were breached; the customer’s account had been handled in a negligent manner; fiduciary duties were breached; and stock and over-the-counter equities trades had been effected in violation of New Jersey Uniform Securities Law. FINRA Arbitration No. 16-00216 (Mar. 21, 2016).
Valdini was terminated by Worden Capital Management LLC supported by accusations of trades being executed by him in customer accounts without permission. Between February 2, 2016 and May 15, 2017, Valdini was registered with Aegis Capital Corp.
