John Charles Campeau Jr of New Haven Connecticut is a stockbroker formerly registered with UBS Financial Services Inc. who is the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim where the customer requested $102,204.00 in damages based upon allegations that Campeau charged the customer with excessive fees for advisory services and made unsuitable investment recommendations to the customer concerning equities transactions effected in the customer’s account between 2009 and 2017. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 18-00710 (Feb. 27, 2018).

FINRA Public Disclosure additionally reveals that on August 23, 2017, a customer filed an investment related written complaint that concerned Campeau’s conduct, in which the customer sought $25,000.00 in damages founded on accusations that the customer’s stock positions were sold from the customer’s investment account by the financial advisor without the customer’s knowledge while Campeau was associated with Citigroup Global Markets Inc.

Campeau’s registration with UBS Financial Services Inc. was terminated on December 11, 2017. Since November 30, 2017, he has been associated with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated.
