Jeremy Lee Bouwman of Austin, Texas, a stockbroker registered with Edward Jones, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related complaint that was settled on August 4, 2022, for $45,844.82 in damages based upon allegations that Bouwman made unsuitable investment recommendations during the period that Bouwman was associated with Edward Jones.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows that Bouwman was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on December 5, 2013, in which the customer requested $5,500.00 in damages based upon alleged poor performance of mutual funds that were recommended by Bouwman when he was associated with Edward Jones. The securities broker dealer denied this complaint.
Bouwman was also referenced in a complaint filed on December 14, 2015, in which the customer requested damages based upon allegations that Bouwman made the unsuitable investment recommendation of stocks in November 2015. The complaint was also denied.
Bouwman has been associated with Edward Jones in Austin, Texas since June 26, 2008.
