Jeffrey Wayne Kitchen, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, a stockbroker registered with Edward Jones, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim that was settled for $10,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Kitchen engaged in “unsuitable trading,” given the customer’s risk tolerance during the time that Kitchen was associated with Edward Jones. FINRA Arbitration No. 23-00768 (Settled November 14, 2023).
This is not the first time that Kitchen has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning his conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Kitchen was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on December 29, 2008, in which the customer requested compensatory damages based upon allegations that Kitchen recommended an exchange into TEPLX, which resulted in tax liabilities and lower dividends during the time that Kitchen was associated with Edward Jones. This complaint was denied.
Kitchen has been associated with Edward Jones in West Chester, Pennsylvania since September 2, 1998.
