Janet T. Doherty of Staten Island, New York, a stockbroker registered with Osaic Wealth Inc., is the subject of a customer initiated investment related complaint filed on January 11, 2024, in which the customer compensatory damages estimated to exceed $5,000.00 based upon allegations that Doherty effected an unauthorized transfer of funds from fixed to variable annuities when Doherty was associated with OSAIC Wealth Inc.

This is not the first time that Doherty has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Doherty’s conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Doherty is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled to resolve allegations that Doherty provided unsuitable investment recommendations and made misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the sale of equity indexed annuities during the time that Doherty was associated with Royal Alliance Associates. FINRA Arbitration No. 09-05912 (September 29, 2010).

Since April 24, 2024, Doherty has been associated with Vanderbilt Securities LLC in Woodbury, New York, and Vanderbilt Advisory Services in Staten Island, New York.
