Jamie Theresa Nowakowski (also known as Jamie Ogren and Jamie Stella), formerly associated with Coastal Equities Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware, is now involved or the subject matter of six customer initiated investment related disputes.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure shows two customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claims remain unresolved. The first claim, filed on November 6, 2024 (FINRA Arbitration No. 24-02380), alleged unsuitable investment recommendations with damages amounting to $80,000. The second claim, filed on February 20, 2024 (FINRA Arbitration No. 24-00383), also alleged unsuitable investment recommendations, but the damages amount remains unspecified.
Public Disclosure shows that some arbitration claims have already been settled. On July 16, 2024, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim alleging unsuitable investment recommendations resulted in a settlement of $32,000. FINRA Arbitration No. 24-01535.
Another customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim, filed on May 11, 2023 (FINRA Arbitration No. 23-01303), alleged unsuitable recommendations in direct investments and was settled for $30,000.
An earlier customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim, filed on September 6, 2022 (FINRA Arbitration No. 22-01698), alleged misrepresentations of material fact and unsuitable investment advice, resulting in a settlement of $110,000. Additionally, on May 25, 2022, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim alleged that Nowakowski failed to perform due diligence on GWG Holdings Class L Bonds, leading to a settlement of $35,000. Nowakowski was most recently registered with Equitable Advisors LLC in Venice, Florida, from February 2020 to January 2025. Prior to that, she was associated with Coastal Equities Inc. from January 2017 to February 2020.
