James Vincent Pucciarelli of New York, New York, a stockbroker registered with Morgan Stanley, was the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $35,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Pucciarelli made unsuitable recommendations of stocks during the time that Pucciarelli was associated with Morgan Stanley. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 21-00367 (December 13, 2022).
This is not the first time that Pucciarelli has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Pucciarelli’s conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Pucciarelli was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related civil action filed in New York Small Claims Court on October 20, 2016, in which the customer requested $35,418.00 in damages based upon allegations that Pucciarelli made unsuitable recommendations of master limited partnerships when Pucciarelli was associated with Barclays Capital Inc. The claim alleges that the recommendations were not consistent with the customer’s objectives and risk tolerance and that the investments performed poorly.
Pucciarelli has been registered with Morgan Stanley as a stockbroker and investment adviser representative since July 13, 2015.
