Christopher Carl Jansen, of Burlington, New Jersey, a stockbroker registered with Invest Financial Corporation, was terminated from employment on December 28, 2016, based upon allegations that he made misrepresentations to a customer pertaining to the guarantees and features of annuity products.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Jansen has been identified in four customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his misconduct while he was employed with Emmet A. Larkin Company, Inc. and Essex National Securities, LLC. Specifically, on March 23, 2004, a customer was awarded $59,056.00 in damages according to an investment related arbitration claim involving Jansen’s conduct, based upon allegations that he effected unauthorized over-the-counter equity trades in the customer’s account.
This is not the first time that Jansen was separated from employment based upon allegations of wrongdoing. Particularly, on May 1, 2001, his registration with Wall Street Financial was terminated based upon allegations that he utilized the customer’s margin in an inappropriate manner.
Subsequently, on October 29, 2015, two customer investment related written complaints concerning Jansen’s activities were resolved for a total of $17,379.13 in damages based upon allegations that Jansen made misrepresentations regarding the terms and conditions of variable annuities purchased by the customers in August of 2015. Moreover, on April 13, 2017, a customer filed an investment related written complaint concerning Jansen’s activities founded by allegations against him of misrepresentation.
Since April 26, 2017, Jansen has been associated with Newbridge Securities Corporation.
