
Henry Paul Jakobsze, of Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, a stockbroker registered with UBS Financial Services Inc., was the subject of a customer initiated investment related Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) securities arbitration claim in which the customer requested $620,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Jakobsze made unsuitable investment recommendations and misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the sale of an options overlay strategy during the time that Jakobsze was associated with UBS Financial Services Inc. FINRA Arbitration No. 24-01588 (July 23, 2024).
This is not the first time that Jakobsze has been referenced in a customer initiated investment related dispute concerning Jakobsze’s conduct in the securities industry. FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Jakobsze was the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer was awarded $343,389.00 in compensatory damages because UBS Financial Services Inc. was held liable for sales practice violations. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-01201 (September 1, 2022). The Statement of Claim alleged that the securities broker dealer violated federal securities laws, FINRA regulations, and North Carolina securities laws, breached a contract, was negligent, breached fiduciary duties, made unsuitable recommendations, made misrepresentations, and committed fraud in connection with the sale of options when Jakobsze was associated with UBS Financial Services Inc.
Jakobsze has been associated with UBS Financial Services Inc. in Chicago, Illinois, since October 4, 1996. He has also been associated with UBS Financial Services Inc. in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, since November 6, 1997.
