Heath Geoffrey Grossman, of Weathersfield, Connecticut, a stockbroker formerly registered with Silver Oaks Securities and investment adviser representative registered with JB Capital LLC, is referenced in a customer initiated investment related AAA arbitration claim where the customer requested $30,000.00 supported by allegations of Grossman’s failure to consider tax consequences in a customer’s investment plan which resulted in damages to the customer upon the sale of equities from their account. AAA Arbitration No. 01-21-0004-9353 (Aug. 24, 2021).
FINRA Public Disclosure shows that Grossman has been identified in three more customer initiated investment related disputes containing accusations of his wrongdoing while employed by Silver Oak Securities and JB Capital. On May 23, 2019, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim regarding Grossman’s conduct was resolved for $49,306.48 in damages based upon allegations of four unsuitable non-traded real estate investment trusts sold by Grossman when he was associated with Silver Oak Securities. The claim also alleges that the customer had been recommended inappropriate fixed annuities resulting in damages.
On August 24, 2018, another customer filed an investment related complaint concerning Grossman’s activities in which the customer sought compensatory damages founded on accusations of Grossman’s failure to inform the customer about the fees pertaining to mutual fund transactions during the time that he was registered with JB Capital.
Grossman is identified in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim where the customer requested $80,000.00 in damages supported by allegations of unsuitable alternative investments by Grossman while he was employed by Silver Oak Securities. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-03854 (November 24, 2020). The claim alleges that the customer’s account had been overconcentrated in non-traded REITs.
Grossman was associated with Silver Oak Securities between July 24, 2012 and April 20, 2017.
