Larry Lee Aschebrook, of Chicago, Illinois, a former officer of Gentry Securities, LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related civil action that settled for $140,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that misrepresentations were made to the customer regarding private placements. Civil Action No. 2015-CH-18129 (Oct. 25, 2016). The customer also alleged that conflicts of interests concerning memberships interests had not been disclosed, and investments were not suitable for the customer.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that another customer filed an investment related complaint, seeking $720,000.00 in damages founded on allegations that the customer did not receive a return of principal in reference to the customer’s private membership interests in an entity that Gentry Securities affiliated with.

Aschebrook’s employment with Gentry Securities LLC has been terminated as of March 7, 2014. Since then, he has been registered with Harbor Light Securities (March 7, 2014 to December 31, 2016) and Watchdog Capital, LLC (March 21, 2017 to February 22, 2017).
