Juan Marcano of Marysville Ohio a stockbroker formerly employed by Edward Jones is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on September 14, 2016 in which the customer sought more than $5,000.00 in estimated damages based upon allegations that Marcano made unsuitable investment recommendations to the customer concerning a Protective Dimensions variable annuity.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Marcano has been referenced in two more customer initiated investment related disputes pertaining to accusations of Marcano’s wrongful conduct while employed by Edward Jones. In particular, on July 29, 2013, a customer initiated investment related complaint concerning Marcano’s activities was resolved for $8,426.00 in damages founded on allegations that inappropriate mutual fund transactions had been effected in the customer’s account. Apparently, the customer incurred sales charges that could have been avoidable had the customer been provided the opportunity to effect an alternative exchange.

Then, on May 13, 2016, a customer initiated investment related complaint that pertained to Marcano’s conduct was settled for $5,677.63 in damages supported by accusations that the customer was not provided accurate information by Marcano in reference to the amount of income that the customer would earn by selecting a variable annuity income rider.

Marcano’s registration with Edward Jones was terminated on March 9, 2016. Since March 4, 2016, Marcano has been associated with Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc.
