William Stafford Thurmond, of El Paso, Texas, a stockbroker formerly registered with EDI Financial, Inc., has been named in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, where the customer was awarded $212,731.00 in damages on January 20, 2016, based upon allegations that Thurmond breached his fiduciary obligations to the customer, effected trades which were neither suitable nor authorized by the customer, made misrepresentations concerning securities, churned the customer’s account, and committed fraud.
