Douglas Edward Kary of San Diego California is a stockbroker formerly associated with Morgan Stanley who was fired on April 1 2016 based upon allegations that Kary entered into an unapproved loan arrangement between a firm customer and an outside entity that Kary was involved in.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that on October 23, 2015, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Kary’s conduct, where the customer alleged that between 2009 and October 23, 2015, unsuitable investment transactions had been placed in the customer’s trust account.
Subsequently, on December 2, 2016, a customer initiated investment related complaint regarding Kary’s activities was resolved for $24,500.00 in damages supported by accusations that between October of 2001 and April of 2016, unauthorized trades were effected in the customer’s managed account.
