David Charles Turetzky of Saddle Brook New Jersey a stockbroker currently registered with Ameriprise Financial Services LLC is the subject of a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim in which the customer sought $500,000.00 in damages founded on allegations of sales practice violations pertaining to the customer’s account at Ameriprise. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Arbitration No. 20-03904 (Dec. 3, 2020).
FINRA Public Disclosure reveals that Turetzky has been referenced in four additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing accusations of his indiscretions while employed by Morgan Stanley and Ameriprise. On November 20, 2018, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Turetzky’s conduct was resolved for $1,200,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Morgan Stanley failed to supervise Turetzky’s management of the customer’s account resulting in damages on government bonds. FINRA Arbitration No. 17-02736. According to the claim, FINRA rules and both state and federal securities laws had been violated. The claim also alleges misrepresentations by the stockbroker and the breach of both a contract and fiduciary duty.
Turetzky is also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim on June 3, 2020 where the customer requested unspecified damages supported by accusations of mismanagement of the customer’s account by Turetzky during the time that he was associated with Morgan Stanley. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-01700. On July 2, 2020, another customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim concerning Turetzky’s conduct in which the customer sought unspecified damages founded on allegations of the financial advisor mishandling the customer’s Morgan Stanley accounts from 2014 to 2016. The stockbroker is the subject of a different customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim on July 2, 2020 where the customer requested compensatory damages based upon accusations of the stockbroker’s failure to manage the customer’s Morgan Stanley account. FINRA Arbitration No. 20-02034.
Turetzky’s stockbroker and investment adviser representative registrations with Morgan Stanley have been terminated as of May 30, 2017. He was registered with Liberty Partners Capital Financial Services between March 16, 2018 and January 3, 2019 and has been registered with Ameriprise since January 3, 2019.
