David Joe Ondo Jr. of San Pedro California is a stockbroker currently registered with OneAmerica Securities Inc. who is the subject of a customer initiated investment related written complaint on June 13 2016 in which the customer sought seven thousand one hundred eighty-nine dollars in damages supported by accusations that Ondo made misrepresentations to the customer concerning a variable annuity purchased by the customer.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Ondo has been identified in three additional customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his misconduct during the time that he was registered with MML Investors Services and OneAmerica Securities. Specifically, on February 28, 2006, a customer initiated investment related written complaint concerning Ondo’s conduct was settled for $9,958.52 in damages founded on accusations that Ondo failed to inform the customer that surrender penalties would be assessed on an account transfer involving mutual funds investments.
Then, a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim pertaining to Ondo’s conduct was settled for $10,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Ondo effected unauthorized trades in the customer’s account and prevented the customer from being able to take advantage of breakpoint discounts on mutual fund purchases. FINRA Arbitration No. 12-02654 (Mar. 4 ,2013).
On June 13, 2016, another customer filed an investment related written complaint regarding Ondo’s activities, in which the customer requested $36,927.15 in damages supported by accusations that misrepresentations had been made by Ondo with respect to Lincoln Financial and Jackson National annuities that the customer purchased.
FINRA Public Disclosure also confirms that on August 18, 2006, Ondo was fired from previous employer, MML Investors Services, Inc., based upon allegations of Ondo’s violations of the firm’s procedures and policies concerning customer account documentation. He has been registered with OneAmerica Securities, Inc. since September 25, 2006.
