Darien Euclid Bonney of Scottsdale, Arizona, a stockbroker registered with MML Investors Services LLC, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related civil action in which the customer requested compensation based upon allegations that Bonney made misrepresentations of material fact and made unsuitable recommendations of promissory notes in Spyglass during the time that Bonney was registered with MML Investors Services LLC. Civil Action No. CV2022-013707 (April 18, 2023).

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure  shows that Bonney is referenced in three other customer initiated investment related disputes concerning Bonney’s conduct while registered with securities broker dealers, including MML Investors Services LLC. On February 6, 2023, a customer filed an investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Bonney’s conduct in which the customer requested compensation based upon allegations that Bonney made unsuitable recommendations and misrepresentations of material fact in connection with the sale of private securities including Spyglass and MERCO when Bonney was registered with MML Investors Services LLC. On March 8, 2023, a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim involving Bonney’s conduct was settled for $17,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Bonney made unsuitable recommendations of promissory notes. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-02125.

Bonney was also referenced in a customer initiated investment related FINRA securities arbitration claim that was settled for $105,000.00 in damages based upon an alleged default on promissory notes and poor performance on a private Spyglass Financial Strategies investment. FINRA Arbitration No. 22-01548 (February 16, 2023).

Public Disclosure shows that Bonney has been barred from associating with any FINRA member in any capacity because Bonney failed to respond to FINRA’s request for information. Letter No. 2021072817601 (August 9, 2022). The process leading to this action began with a Suspension Notice on May 6, 2022, and a Suspension from Association letter on May 31, 2022. FINRA stated that Bonney had a three-month window to ask for the suspension to be lifted. However, he did not respond by the deadline.

Bonney was registered with MML Investors Services LLC as a stockbroker from April 2, 2007, to January 27, 2022. Bonney was discharged on January 20, 2022, based upon allegations that he engaged in an undisclosed outside business activity.
