Robert Charles Wyman Jr., of Hyannis, Massachusetts, a stockbroker currently registered with Morgan Stanley, is the subject of a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim, which settled on September 12, 2016 for $70,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Wyman made misrepresentations to the customer and effected unsuitable equity transactions in the customer’s account.

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure reveals that Wyman has been identified in three more customer initiated investment related disputes containing allegations of his misconduct while he was associated with Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. In particular, on November 6, 1996, a customer initiated investment related written complaint involving Wyman’s conduct was settled for $24,900.00 in damages based upon allegations against Wyman of suitability.

Then, on May 14, 2003, a customer filed an investment related written complaint involving Wyman’s conduct, wherein the customer’s claim was supported by allegations that Wyman breached his fiduciary duties, and had effected unauthorized and unsuitable over-the-counter equities trades in the customer’s investment account. On July 22, 2013, another customer initiated investment related written complaint regarding Wyman’s activities was resolved for $20,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Wyman placed equity transactions in the customer’s account despite the investments having been inappropriate.

Further, on July 28, 2016, a customer filed an investment related arbitration claim pertaining to Wyman’s conduct, wherein the customer sought $255,784.00 in damages based upon allegations that Wyman effected unsuitable transactions in the customer’s account and over-concentrated the customer’s assets in Seadrill and Hercules Offshore investments.
