Leavitt Freeman Sanders, of West Point, Georgia, a stockbroker formerly registered with INVEST Financial Corporation, has been named in a customer initiated investment related written complaint, which settled on January 16, 2017, for $11,503.00 in damages based upon allegations that Sanders effected investment strategies concerning options products that were misrepresented and unsuitable for the customer.
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Public Disclosure also reveals that on January 16, 2017, five additional customers initiated investment related disputes concerning Sanders’ conduct, where the customers’ disputes were settled for a total of $112,762.00 in damages to resolve allegations against Sanders of misrepresentation, unsuitability and excessive trading in customers’ accounts. Additionally, on December 1, 2016, a customer filed an investment related arbitration claim regarding Sanders’s activities based upon allegations that Sanders breached his contractual obligations and effected unsuitable transactions in the customer’s account.
Sanders’ registration with INVEST Financial Corporation was terminated on January 15, 2014. From January 14, 2014 to December 26, 2014, he was associated with Triad Advisors, Inc.
