Arismendy Abreu, of New York, New York, a stockbroker formerly registered with E.J. Sterling, LLC, has been named in a customer initiated investment related arbitration claim on December 20, 2015, in which the customer requested $50,000.00 in damages based upon allegations that Abreu made misrepresentations to the customer, effected unsuitable stock and mutual fund transactions, churned the customer’s account, and committed fraud. The customer further alleged that EJ Sterling failed to properly supervise the customer’s brokerage holdings which were impacted by Abreu’s misconduct.
Since November 9, 2007, Abreu has been associated with thirteen different broker dealers, seven of which have been expelled by securities regulators for violation of federal securities laws or are otherwise defunct. #cockroach
